We’ve gotten the immunizations and are packing our suitcases, piecing together our itineraries, and awaiting the big day of departure (April 16). We bought our tickets back in January and have been depleting our bank accounts ever since with extra expenses.
My last day on the job was Friday, April 6–I needed to pack up and move out of my current apartment. So I’m packing and I’m surrounded by lots and lots of boxes. And tape.
Our main concern right now is whether Roy will get his passport from the National Passport Agency in time. And whether we’ll have enough time to get him a visa from China. Yikes!
